Library and archives staff help people to learn both through formal education and informal. They provide learning resource centres that sit at the heart of many learning institutions: schools, colleges, universities. In public libraries and archives they host or run courses for local people, provide one to one tuition (e.g. on using the internet) and signpost people to other learning opportunities in their neighbourhood.
